State Testing and Reporting
CST/STAR Testing
All GECS student and parents are notified of the mandatory
state tests upon enrollment. Because many of our students have never
attended a traditional school, and are unfamiliar, if not intimidated
by state mandated testing, we strive to create a supportive and warm
environment for them during the CST/STAR assessment. GECS provides a
variety of healthy snacks, frequent breaks, teacher encouragement, and
small quiet settings.
In addition GECS provides free standards based review materials
months before the test, so that our parents and students can review and
practice participating in a testing format.
