Turtle Bay
Golden Eagles’ K-3rd students traveled to the Schrader Planetarium and Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Jan 2007. This trip tied into their thematic unit on Space. They were treated to two shows at the planetarium. Afterwards the students explored some hands-on science activities around the exhibit hall. Next, they blasted off to Turtle Bay in time for their animal adventure presentation. The volunteers at Turtle Bay taught them about snakes, turtles, and more. They spent the rest of the day exploring all the great history and science exhibits that Turtle Bay has to offer!
