Our mission at Golden Eagle Charter School is to “serve students through personalized learning and by supporting parental choice in education” Central to this is our
ability to provide diverse educational options for our students. GECS has appropriated funds so students and their families are offered a wide venue of learning opportunities.
Funds may be allocated to the following:
Your EF will help you and your child select a core curriculum that is personalized, relevant, and meets grade level California State Standards. All selections must be approved by your Education Facilitator, who then submits a purchase request to the administrative office for final approval and processing. Funds are tracked through a school-wide system. Your EF has access to your child’s budget information.

Upon enrollment students in grades 2-11 are requested to take an on-line diagnostic instrument that provides the student, parent, and EF specific information concerning skills mastery. Families are also offered an account in “Skills Connection”; an online program that customizes instruction to the child’s needs. Based on the information provided by the diagnostic assessment, “Skills Connection” helps students address those objectives. To view this learning tool, please visit http://www.edperformance.com.
