The High School Project can be completed anytime during the high school career, although it is usually a senior experience.
In the High School project, Option I, a student uses a variety of skills to research and develop a 20 hours project, a research paper, and a formal presentation to be made before a panel of teachers. In addition, the project includes a reflective essay, a
resume, a five year plan, the use of interview techniques, documented work with a mentor and 5 hours of community service.
There is an Option II High School project that uses career exploration and planning as its focus, as opposed to the creation of a physical project.

Students may receive credit for the project in the appropriate subject area – for example English credit could be given for the research paper and interview – or they will receive credit under the heading of “High School Project” on their transcript.
